Biography

Well, I have spent a lot of time in San Francisco, but I have also lived in London, Geneva, and Munich. More or less I have lived in the West most of my life and went to the University of Washington, Reed College, Berkeley and St. Johns' College in Santa Fe New Mexico. More than anything I am self educated and have read more than 10,000 books. I have traveled widely; for many years more than 1,000,000 miles a year. Not so much now. I am structurally unemployable and have never really worked for anyone else; but on the other hand I have been very sucessful....I have started airlines, gold mines, software companies, hardware companies, and taken then public and so on. Generally speaking I am intense, happy, tranquil, adventuresome and interesting. Well, many other qualities as well and I cannot think of any really negative qualities. Some pleasures are hiking, travel, music, art, food, reading, culture. I also support various people in the arts and in other venues I have an interest in at different times. While I am complex I am also very simple. I am thinking of moving to Zurich and also buying an island in Panama.
